1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Oakline Campers (“we”, “us”, or “our”), based in Weymouth, Dorset, United Kingdom.
By requesting a quote, paying a deposit, or agreeing for work to begin, you (“the customer”) agree to the following terms.
2. Quotes & Estimates
- All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
- Quotes are based on the information provided at the time. Changes to design, layout, or materials may alter the final cost.
- A booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been received.
3. Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 25–30%) is required before any work begins.
- This deposit is used to purchase materials and parts specific to your build and to secure your booking slot.
- Once materials have been ordered, the deposit cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion, before the vehicle is collected.
- Payments are accepted via bank transfer or another agreed method.
4. Cancellations & Delays
- If you cancel after materials have been purchased or work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
- We will always communicate any build delays due to supplier issues, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
- We are not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers or part shortages.
5. Workmanship & Warranty
- All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the completion date, covering defects in labour or materials supplied by us.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Customer-supplied parts or materials.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by misuse or modification after collection.
- All electrical installations are carried out to professional standards and fully tested prior to handover.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Vehicles must be insured, taxed, and roadworthy before being delivered for work.
- Customers must remove all personal belongings before leaving the vehicle.
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
7. Liability
We take every precaution to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard. However, we are not liable for:
- Loss of use, income, or travel plans resulting from vehicle downtime.
- Faults or issues arising from pre-existing vehicle conditions.
- Failures caused by customer-supplied components or external modifications.
8. Photography & Promotion
We may take photos or videos of the completed work for use on our website and social media.
If you do not wish your vehicle to be featured, please notify us before the build is completed.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved through the appropriate UK courts.
